How it works now:
- You have completed your first aid course, file your certificate and carry on with life
- Two years later, your certificate expires
- Resit the course and begin the process over again
- Leave the job and lose the competency

- Complete your first aid course
- Upload your certificate to MEFILE (or have your service provider do this for you)
- Always have a digital copy available on request on all your electronic devices
- Get email reminders starting from three months before expiry
- Your current employer is also emailed
- Request quotes from local first aid trainers (you or your employer can do this)
- Choose courses that suit you best
- Complete your refresher and have the details uploaded by service provider
